If airline pilots, doctors, and professional athletes can have a labor union then so should tech professionals. You've all invested significant amounts of time and money to acquire your degrees to work in this profession. You're being discarded like yesterday's trash. You won't be treated fairly until you balance the scales in your favor. If you wait another year or two it will be too late. Organize and have some leverage.
