you assume they want a happy workforce. they don't. they want your upset, and preferably, leaving to reduce headcount. that's the driver of the rto lever

I read some companies have offered financial incentives to encourage employees to return to the office. This initiative also included perks like catered lunches, paid parking, and gym memberships. All eligible employees accepted the offer, leading to increased productivity and interest from potential recruits. 

Additionally, a KPMG survey revealed that 86% of U.S. CEOs are considering rewarding employees who return to the office with favorable assignments, raises, or promotions. This reflects a broader trend among companies to incentivize in-person attendance. 
These examples indicate that while not all companies are offering direct financial incentives, some are implementing strategies to encourage employees to return to the office.

Is it possible these types of incentives are on the horizon for Dell?

I believe that mistrust in leadership is growing as employees see inconsistent messaging, broken promises, and policies that prioritize control over well-being. I do not foresee companies coming out on top with this. The companies that pivot and look for remote talent will prevail in the long run.
