My coworker and I were informed we are being let go. We are trying to calculate how our package will look like after tax deductions also how many vacation days we will get pay. We have 15+ years of service each. We are in Florida so only federal withheld. Anyone who can share info will be appreciated.
As to the dismissal, we were part of a group of around 100 people let go. We are spread out across the US. Teams managed risk and controls.

What is the garden email process?
Op here: crazy the person who shared that was let go and received only 3 months. never heard something like that ever. And no, I didn't get a garden email. I was on call in December when we were told changes were coming to brace ourselves. And 1 week ago a call telling everyone we were cut and last day was end of March.
I was fired in 2013. I was with Citi for thirteen years in the IT department. I got three months severance pay... What a sh---y way to go...
Did you by chance receive a garden leave email prior to final call? I got a garden email last month, still waiting hopefully to be riffed.
Vacation days- check your current calendar year balance plus how many days you accrue by your last working day
Severance : 2 weeks per one year of service so you should get 30 weeks and federal tax is 22%
