I hope you folks in the US are making sure that Michael, Jeff and Billy are present full-time at office, every day, to benefit of their energy.
ALL IN
no change in hopkinton...few new faces....nothing crazy.
@bc+1jnem5zqv were you excited and energised too like BS said you should?!
Not enough seats in Santa Clara. I showed up few minutes before 9 and was able to grab a spot. People who did not come by 9 am were not as lucky. Sh*t show indeed
RR2 was nothing but long faces and people sitting in Teams meetings.
Legitimately every single person I saw was wearing a headset and in meetings with folks elsewhere, or even folks in the same damn building.
Yeah, so collaboration and syngery.
"Round Rock campus had no parking spots as of 10am. People had to park in the vacant building parking lots across the street"
That's BS, just because you can't park at the front door... There are less than half the employees in RR than the campus was built for and used to be here.
I collaborated so hard today.
Hopkinton seemed fine. I saw people today that haven't been there in 5 years for sure.... Aka the reason we all had to go back.
So a complete clusterf**k as expected....great job! This shouldve been delayed if there was capacity issues.
@ah+1jnem5zqv - welcome to 2005. Show up anytime after ~745 and you'll be parking in RR8s lot and walking over.
Have they brought the RR campus shuttles back?
Round Rock campus had no parking spots as of 10am. People had to park in the vacant building parking lots across the street.
Lots of people in Ireland offices didn't return
Ireland was fine. I did see a few questioning where to sit but mostly it was disappointingly a non-event
Yeeeeeah...so uh, we're gonna need you to come in on Saaaaaaaturday, mmm'k? And if you could Just go ahead and make sure to turn off the lights when you leave then, that would be greaaat.
It’s a sh-t show. No place to sit so people are working in break rooms. Super loud. An hour and a half to drive in for people.
Not me, but other folks down my row (on a different team) mentioned online internal TS for Dell employees had about an hour queue wait for online chat. Some are having connection issues and email issues.
Found the person microwaving smelling lunch on the next aisle.
