Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Fig town hall- they really don’t get it

They think that outages, incidents and maps are from carelessness or not being diligent enough—zero understanding that we’re all in reactive mode because we’re doing 3 or 4 jobs, badly. Adding more rules to follow will not fix the problem. They’re living in a fantasy world.

I believe that comment was using names of people who were not public figures.

What happened to the “Los pollos hermanos” comment? It was brilliant.

It's so much worse than that.

All a large corporation is is a money-making machine for shareholders. CEO's are literally legally bound to act in shareholders best interests (You can thank the Dodge brothers for that one).
They're not trying to take your ability to fu-k off, they want you to fu-k off. That's the whole point.

We're so fu---d..

They think companies are money and products when in fact they are people. Silly MBA approaches. I’ll be slackin till I’m gone. They may take our dignity! But they can’t take our ability to fu-k off.

They’re useless. Flogging everyone to slow down and go faster. This doesn’t work when you can’t move dates to slow down, or you don’t have enough people
