It’s my understanding that they will start limiting bathroom breaks to two per day. In certain industries, such as manufacturing or customer service, or sales, employers may implement policies to restrict the amount of time employees spend away from their workstations. Dell is no stranger to this, I was approached by manager last week for being away from my desk on too many occasions. I felt a little uncomfortable about the conversation.

Please reconsider.
I will sh-t on the floor with no shame if I have no other options.
Nobody wants that, do they?
Stadium pals and truckers buddies will be available in vending machines throught the break areas
call-center mentality. Where your workday will be scheduled to be at your desk and take your lunch at specific times. You will be available to take phone calls/support cases (see InGenius in salesforce) when you are scheduled to. If you are not in the correct status are the correct time you will go on a pip.
Nothing new - they were doing this back in the late 90s if you were in a support center or any other "non-professional" role. Two 15 minute breaks (your bathroom time), possibly a 60 minute lunch, and forced overtime. Sometimes lunch was forced.
"Seats in chairs equals productivity" has been an issue at Dell forever.
If Amazon employees can p33 in a bottle then so can we Dell employees.
Bowel and bladder evacuation in T-minus 20 seconds at your hotel cube or your managers cube. After a few of those, they’ll beg you to take time to go to the restroom !
Next thing you know we’ll be forced to strap on those NASA diapers at our work stations. Ramming speed!

That’s awful, they want you pi----g blood and chained to your desk.
Anyone feeling like they want to go a little heavy on the 1 ply to accidentally force a clog?
This isn't anything new. A few years before the pandemic I was approached by my manager for taking too many bathroom breaks (one about every hour and a half) and threatened with disciplinary action if it continued. The next day I came in with written instructions from my doctor to drink a minimum of 2 liters of water per day (to prevent kidney stones) and offered to arrange a meeting, with HR included, if further discussion on the topic was needed. There were no more threats, but a few weeks later one of the other managers told me my manager was timing me with a stopwatch and was shocked that most of my bathroom runs were 3 minutes or less.
