Thread regarding Shell Oil layoffs

Discussion on US and Shell Wealth Inequality

The top 10% of earners account for 50% of US consumer spend. Is this healthy for the US? Does Shell leadership behave in the same way. Does the top 10% at Shell make more combined than the bottom 90% of Shell over a 5 year period? How does this impact morale at the company?

And then Oliver Twist said, "Please sir, can I have s'more soup?"
Yeah, trend wise we're heading towards times like 1890-1915, it'll be a lot like The Jungle by Upton Sinclar. The working-poor are paid such that they have to work multiple jobs, rent is unaffordable on one income per house. ... wait we might already be there.

Prepared to receive the most dislikes.... what do you expect ppl to say? Yup.

Financial literacy is important than worrying about what others make....

Start with Dave Ramsey Financial Peace book or University...or Total money makeover. Then responsibly mutate into your own style of having income producing accounts or assets.
