Yea where’s this update because I would have to leave 15 minutes ago to get to the office before my 8:30 meeting. 90 minute drive, 50 miles away.
As of 5:25am est no change in workday and no email from HR.
They literally don't care how far from the office you are. The folks still remote today will be squeezed until they leave or capitulate.
Yes mine has changed from remote to naming the "City,Country" under location in my profile section.
This proves its not accurate as it takes me way over 1 hour to get to the office.

Seen that. My days as officially remote since before covid are now over. Once upon a time I was a stat they wanted, aim for x % remote. Now teams and zoom in a noisy environment

It's about 3 am IST. I would suspect by 9 am IST the changes will be live. I doubt they are able to have workday roll them out by timezones so I'm willing to bet all will be revealed in six hours.
If you actually live more than 70 miles from an office, you might have an argument. Living any less than that, I would expect to have to come in.

One member of my team lives 90 minutes away under the best of conditions. He's been told he is expected to be in the office. He submitted a request for an exemption to HR as annual customer of commuting for him is going to be upwards of $7k. His request was denied.

Workday for me still says remote but also says that's there's an "Onsite Country Exemption". I'm Cork in Ireland.
If you think you might be changed to on site, then you probably are close enough. I'm convinced I'll be changed.

Don't do this to yourself. Wait until Monday when you login remotely to check.
