Love the buffoon that put in a buy order. That person is completely full of crud. Twitter is no longer listed on the stock exchange. Musk took it private to re-tool without WallStreet pressure. You won’t be able to buy again until Musk IPOs the reformed company.

Demands are more viable only if issued from a position of relative strength.

FWIW, if asked "What would you say you do here?" just be honest, explain it as best you can, with a mix of tactical and strategic ("I fix bugs so the user experience improves for our customers"). That question (long term hiring mgr here) is designed to give you room or rope: honest answers will do well, but the BS meeting is on maximum so you can hang yourself if you try to embellish or spin anything. That question is intended to check your honesty and awareness. They don't have a "right" answer for this (or, if they do, then it doesn't matter what you say, they already have a list of who does what and changing those is.... an uphill battle in an tornado where everyone is wearing butter shoes. or something like that.)

The view from the outside, FWIW: Good luck, don't feel you have to stay or have to go just yet - what happens next is extremely unpredictable, no matter what experts say.

I believe in Twitter as potentially a very positive force in social media: It is embedded, it is trusted, widely available, and for the most part, has not been cash-grabby. There is a sense of Purpose and Mission from the friends I know that work there. The foundations are strong and successfully resisted whimsical changes, by and large. But, change is reality and there are strong winds building. There is a way to monetize untapped aspects of the platform without fundamentally selling out. I don't know which way things will go, no one does. I wish you all luck, I hope the Good Wolf wins out in the next year.

Disclaimer: I sold my Twitter stock as of today (72% gain) but placed an order for it when the stock bottoms out (my guess: 35-38), but this is all due to advertisers, not the people working at Twitter. Ad folks will be nervous, the stock will suffer; Twitter staff will remain solid and endure as best you can. I believe in you, I just hope you are allowed to keep doing what you love.

75% is the bare minimum. Lousy app. Not to mention censorships. WhatsApp was done with less than 500 people and it has a billion users.

Meh! I can't imagine Twitter doesn't have some redundancies or underperforming areas that might be in need of reorganizing or optimization.

Elon has a nice list of employees to start off from. "What would you say you do here?"
