That was my thought also. How do employees get victimhood status by refusing to leave?

Facts are, people left are ridding it out till end. ( Financially solid, higher priority on vacation accrual s, convince, enjoy the drama, a good fight, still looking for best op ) from a support standpoint; the vast majority of work are issues development has MANAGED, to unleash into the client base, and support MANAGEMENT allowed. Legacy product components long since retired by 3rd party vendors
Not sure what you believe support is Fixing. The statement , doing the same thing over and over, again and again expecting a different outcome could be used here , if you truly believe things are being fixed.
IMPLEMENTATION has long been a joke, absolute unrealistic time frames ( way too long) to implement small to medium size offices. Managed by folks who really have zero skill set, other than soft skills. Way too many times Implementation managers were moved into other areas of the company exposing their serious deficiency.
As for "tapping out" .. NO ONE " I know who left on their own, tapped out as you put it. WE all walked away from this ring victorious. TAP OUTS are what MANAGEMENT does each day, instead of fighting the good fight.
Employees still there just keep pounding, take notes and observe, you may very well be on your way to creating the next Dilbert series or produce films similar to office space..
Peace out..

Most employees still there either really care or are not employable elsewhere, face the facts. Some/Most support folks are amazing and thrive on fixing the issues - believe it or not it’s still learning! Implementation and other client facing jobs, well, if they are complaining and still there it’s likely because they are too lazy to do anything else or know their skill set is not transferable anywhere. Folks that left on their own or were laid off have had the best opportunities. It’s a fact! Ask Anyone who tapped out or was laid off. The grass is most certainly greener.

These great employees can't leave on their own? Find new jobs while having a job?

The problem is that Harris buys products and companies that are like Whales___t in the bottom of the ocean, but they don't sunset products and they don't sell them back off.
So Sunrise will be around as long as there continue to be hospitals that like to waste their money.
Northwell and Memorial Sloan Kettering will be gone soon and then maybe the mass exit will start.
