To all of you from the Hudson site that heard life changing news yesterday, I am so sorry. I am so sorry that you unexpectedly lost your main source of income yesterday. I am so sorry that a whole new set of worries has been hoisted upon you. I am so sorry to lose you as a colleague. But mostly, I am so very sorry that people that you once thought of as colleagues and friends have taken to this board to post utter nonsense, attempts at humor, leadership bashing or (checks notes) longing for a gas station hotdog at your expense. They are utterly shameless and I am genuinely embarrassed. I hope they are too. You all deserve so much better than this. We will miss you. Please hold your heads high. You did nothing to deserve this and those of us with any dignity remaining wish you well.

I enjoyed my work with onsemi who had a great group of people, a company with great benefits, good pay, and I was able to make a lot of significant improvements in my role there. I wish everybody at onsemi Hudson well as they take new roles elsewhere. I also hope that everybody left at onsemi Hudson continues to do well in their roles.

Hey remember when someone pulled a breaker that cost Hudson 1,000,000 loss in 15 minutes . Does that person still have a job?
This is sad. So many people got laid off and we are being petty and attacking others. Do you even know what Buddy does? If you brought an issue to his manager and he told you to not worry about it and mind your business. Did you go to anyone else; did you contact the ethics board yourself rather than posting it like a baby after the fact. Rather than worrying about others maybe you should worry about finding a job. I'm sure Buddy would be happy to give you a reference if you needed.
To all the workers who got let go in Hudson Truely sorry, it looks like Buddy made the cut the one person who scams the company every day. An hourly employee who does not have to punch out for lunch or when leaving the building. Also, a tech who can work from home WTF. This is unexcitable.
All other hourly employees are told if they do not follow company policies they will be written up. Please ethics committee investigate timecard punch and video. Brought up This issue to his manager and was told this is none of your business. Still there as an employee its all of our business.
Take that moral high ground!

Your VP openly retaliates against employees
Your HR covers up threats of violence, discrimination, and s-xual harassment
Your management is complicit and let's victims be victimized
But hey, you didn't make jokes!
We all understand a layoff is stressful and causes a ton of anxiety. It's ok to laugh about it and if you are truly a skilled worker, you won't be out of work too long.
This isn't the end of the road for whomever got laid off. It's just the end of a chapter and your new chapter has started. Hit Indeed hard. Network network network. You will find a new job. Lot of good companies out there. Onsemi clearly isn't that good of a company anyways. Stay positive and enjoy your time off of work. Make the best of it.

Cool that you feel bad, but I can't imagine you don't feel as bad as the people who just lost their income and are now going to have to figure out how to feed, insure, and house their family!
