Does anyone think there is bully culture at Truist? All the managers “strategically put in place” by their bosses during merger because of relationships and not so much for outstanding contributions. Now these so called managers think they are so powerful that they can bully around people. What happened to rotating managers around so that bully environment is not encouraged?

I worked in Premier for 2 years and left after thank god. Of the 16ish that were on my team while there I think 2 still remain. Management was brutal
I don't know about bullying but micromanagement is out of control
I think people are generally ego maniacs and selfish and this isn’t specific to Truist.
I’ve been blessed to have amazing managers. The biggest issue is the team leads have limited power/say-so in promotion, flexible working conditions, and reward decisions.
“Tokens” part of so true. There are white and black tokens to make “managers” look more diverse and inclusive. They think people are stupid to not know what’s going on.
Yes, and a “good ole boys” network, with a couple token others to keep it looking legit. The only people left here are working for a paycheck and their give a flip left a long time ago. Anyone that says otherwise is either incompetent and not worth their paycheck and they know it, or they are too close to retirement to start over now.
Stock price and what goes in their pocket are all that matters and they are willing to berate you like a rented mule to get either one
In some areas that may be true. In my space, some good managers were forced out in project Star as a power move by some bully managers. The whole business unit has been on fire ever since but the good folks are gone and clowns are entrenched.
