Thread regarding Toronto-Dominion Bank layoffs

Promotions, Demotions, Firing and Layoffs Galore

There have been a lot of promotions along with several quiet demotions lately. We have seen quiet retirements, firings and layoffs too. It has been a wild ride watching all the hires come in as officers while the hard-working staff gets overlooked. Eventually those golden hires can't sustain their glory days and end up on the retire/fire or layoff list and it's a sad rinse/repeat cycle. The culture is supposed to be what brings people to TD until they're actually here and see it is a sham.

It looks like the song remains the same at TD. The street knows that they don't value thei r most valueable asset - the people. Some of the promotions have been laughable and have not provided any comfort that this company is not moving in the right direction. Their playbook on how to treat staff has not changed - it doesn't seem that the change of executives had any impact. The change in treatment of staff has to start at the top. Wake up people.
