Return to office

It’s happening. Should be announced soon just in time for summer.

My manager received an email from HR asking why some of his reports have not met the RTO quota.

I believe it. The parking lot is suddenly full every day.

If our leaders think RTO will solve Medtronic issues, we are all cooked.

Return to office full time and lay your head low. Won’t get you fired

It’s best that you show up to work full time until the layoffs stop. The company is weaving out high earning workers too so they don’t have to cut too many people excluding higher ups of course

On one hand, good bring them back like the rest of us "on site" folks. On the other hand who really wants to hear them "bi--h and moan" allday about all the work they got done at home. And now they can't get a thing done with all the interruptions in the office.

@cx+1jn2qn240, to be fair every post and reply on this message board is brain rot.

@cx+1jn2qn240 You came to an anonymous message board looking for proof? You must be in leadership with that kind of logic.

We’ve heard for years now that back to the office is happening. I predict there won’t be enough parking and desks to accommodate everyone, and our teams will still be working in different locations so we will still need to click to join meeting.

Ah, this tactic is a way to fire people. They will find any reason to let you go. Also the more people let go the bigger your annual bonus :)

Then go work at Boston Scientific if you need to be babysat all day.

@OP+1jn2qn240 source? Also all employees or just hybrid employees?

At this point, Medtronic needs to just try to copy what Boston Scientific was doing 2 years ago. Their "strategy" has lost and they need to stop paying consultants and just do what has worked.

So, yes, return to office. Stop the lie that remote work is valid.
