SAP Labs India Looks to Double Its Productivity Gains From GenAI

SAP Labs India aims to double its customers’ productivity gains from generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) by the end of this year. Sindhu Gangadharan, managing director of SAP Labs India, said, “Currently the productivity gain is about 20 percent and our target by the end of the year is to take it to 40 percent.”

So the plan is to move jobs from Europe and Americas to India, and then to replace half of Indian workers by AI agents?

So re-coding and re-testing will be multiplied by AI?

So AI taking over the jobs of SAP’s engineers based India, and trained on a model tgat is based on the “product” of the coding created by those engineers? That’s a winning proposition if I ever saw one.
