Management

Anyone struggling with the management in their store? The managers at my store choose very specific people to do all the store events and move around when scheduling is messed up but won’t utilize the other 100 employees who don’t do anything. We have a major handful of employees who sit on their as--s for the same pay but hide away all for long periods of time while the managers do nothing about it nor can offer raises for all the extra work, along with the managers not willing to ring especially when there’s major lines or just sit in their offices all day only to come out to micro manage you or talk to you like you don’t understand how you’re doing your job and it’s so frustrating.

I honestly have not worked in a store that afforded the luxury of not having ALL colleagues in the game. I work in a store that will more than likely be in the next round of closing announcements. Everyone on the team, from store mgr to flex colleagues work and work hard. We are one team together, working towards the same goal and all in to win. Not kidding. Our store manager is in her office alot but will also get out on the floor and sweat right along us all. We have good results but are in a dying mall.
I’m going to hate it if we close. We are pretty awesome. 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Same thing at my store. There are a few of us that are given projects to do while everyone else gets to hang at the register. There are also a few employees who have not had their hrs cut while those who the cr-p work have

Clean house on a regular basis!! We need new managers who will actually work with their employees, who don’t bullsh-t employees with intimidation tactics, or who cut hours from the ones that are productive but will give their favorite a-s kisser the majority of the hours. My department was just me, while everyone had two people at all times helping out. Complete bollocks

Most of the managers will come in and sit at their desks looking at computer screens while munching on their pop tarts and drinking Diet Coke for 3 hours at a time… then they take personal calls with their family for another 2 hours, all while not supporting their team in the process. Useless. I can see why everyone hates them.

Exactly. Managers pick the best workers to do the extra work and the other laid back employees get to do nothing for the same pay.....How fair is that???
