Has anyone that was laid off on 2/6 received their severance pay out yet? It has been almost 3 weeks and still nothing for me....

I did not receive bonus in severance payout.
Got mine on 2/28.. was shocked to get my bonus in there too
Be prepared for upwards of 40% total taxes to be taken out of your lump sum severance check.
I was laid off 11/1 and had my severance 11/23.
was laid off 09/26 and waited seven weeks for mine. you have to email them a few times to get anything. I lived off unemployment (UI) until it came and then had to pay UI back. it's not a great system.
Got mine on 2/28. Agree to call the number provided in your separation email.
I was paid today.
Nope. They have rejected my signed documents 3 times now for no clear reason. I submitted a 4th time via snail mail and am awaiting update and payment. It’s been a huge hassle
And you need it now.
Follow up kids!!...it's your money
didn't get mine for a month and a half
I emailed my paperwork on 2/6. I have pending deposits for tomorrow for PTO/severance as two separate deposits. Numbers appear correct.
I received a notice of pending deposit today, however it does not equal the amount of my severance and more than my PTO balance. Reaching out to 1-800 # to confirm what this check represents.
The severance agreement says as soon as administratively feasible. Which gives them an open door to keep the money as long as they like.
It took about 6 weeks when I was laid off and I turned my paperwork in at the end of day on my last day. It’s not a fast process
Your severance will not include any premiums or HSA, FSA deductions. Once your departure date arrives you only have coverage until the end of that month. After that you pay COBRA benefits on your own, which is unaffordable or apply for coverage at healthcare.gov . Please become familiar with dates and you rights. Do not accept the run around of checking every Monday, those administrative activities steals your focus from making strategic decisions and looking for another job. Make Optum accountable for their decisions.
Would love to know how they are handling insurance premiums, 401K contributions and HSA contributions. Are they going to lump sum deduct those amounts for the length of offer you got? Double check that.
I called Monday and was advised my pay date is this Friday, 2/28/25. The amount was unavailable and she said that I could call back today, 2/26/25 if I wanted to know. I emailed my agreement on 2/6/25. I called last week and the rep confirmed receipt although I got an automated email. She said to call back every Monday afternoon to check on my payout date. The payout date should align with the pay periods unless your state’s law indicate different. 2/28 is an Optum pay date. I hope this helps. Please know that if you get a rep that put you on hold for a long time hang up and get someone else. The reps who know what they are doing will not put you on hold but let you know what’s happening while they are waiting to get to other screens.
Nothing here. I’m hoping this week!
Did you get a response on the pay date?
Call the Employee Center -1-800-561-0861 and ask them to open an Employee Relations ticket to see what is the hold up. That is what I had to do to understand the pay date.
No here as well. I am hoping it will be on 2-28.
