Thread regarding Halliburton Co. layoffs

Layoffs update

First of all, good luck to everyone at the Victoria yard. I truly hope everything turns out well for all of them. If the job market weren't so tough, I'd honestly consider those who were let go as the lucky ones. Secondly, what's the buzz around layoffs? I wouldn't be surprised if more are coming

It's only going to get worse with the America first agenda turning against our friends and siding with Putin, opening up Russian O&G to the world, bringing down the price per barrel and tariffs reducing US manufacturing due to impossible cross border trade. And good luck with unemployment safety nets, only the elites are set to benefit from generous tax cuts. What can be done to withstand the chaos?

North Belt mfg told to hit their monthly self imposed targets or suffer the consequences of headcount reduction. Why don't upper management and executive team have their own self imposed targets and layoffs. Worthless management team.

Layoffs going on around North Belt, seems to be small pockets of it, nothing too drastic as of yet.
