Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Who needs a CEO? Not Intel. Its stock has soared this month without one.

Intel’s stock is up 28% in February with the Silicon Valley chip company being run by a team of three executives. Could this become a model for other companies?

@et If a guy who talks directly with Jesus (sometimes on Twitter) couldn’t bring the company back, there really is no hope.

Alternatively (!), maybe Jesus was just more of a hands-on guy rather than the kind of guy who will figure out strategy for a company. Or a species.

His Model of Human existence is total bollocks.

You Cobalt flavored lolipop lickers, you blue crayon eaters, you Intel cult followers. Stop supporting these Intel executive's lifestyles with their Salt Bae steak dinners, trips to Davos, and hair plugs. Stop giving Intel your money.

There are way too many engineers that just talk to fill silence if you really listen they don’t say anything meaningful at all, and all the others nod as if they know what they just said but it’s all empty words and lies. They’re all so woke they don’t have any backbone to call out BS. They’re all making so much money why not continue living the lie. For every 1 good engineer there are 10 bad ones. Can a new CEO fix this?

Stock is propped up because the company is getting sold i.e. all the dummies that ruined the company will be GONE.

They hear somebody wants to buy so they bump up the price. Since nobody really wants to buy it then it goes back down until the next news about new CEO 18A yields next wave of layoffs etc ...

@a7 Wow when you put it that way, kind of seems like Intel turning into vapor might’ve been an act of divine intervention.

Intel isn’t dragging anything anywhere.
Intel is just irrelevant.

Well that is mighty impressive considering Jesus, by way of Pat’s prayers, couldn’t do better than a minus 60-bagger! Behold: the power of prayer!

Man you’re an id—t. Intel went up because buyers were literally betting on it no longer existing. Now it’s sub 23 and going right back where it started as, unfortunately but predictably, those plans don’t seem to be happening as intel is more of less worthless (no leading products, no leading tech, no nothing). Somehow I doubt you’ll be posting about how it dropped right back where it started (and likely lower when the best chance for a takeover undoubtedly walks). But hey, keep on the pipe dude.
