af+1jmyqs8h5 back in the 2000s BF was fired by his own family.. In comes Allan.. Sorry but we do not share your vision. Yes EVs will come someday but not today. As for DF. Sorry he is a political animal.. He is in no way like JF the savior of the company and sales and stock reflect that...

You can tell Bill is terrified of being the Ford that destroys FMC. I feel bad for him, he is too close to have a proper perspective. There is an echo chamber of sycophants telling him exactly what he wants to hear, including the CEO. Hackett was the first serious Bill gaffe. Then there are all these Ford family dynamics of well we have to put Alexandria on the BOD to counterbalance Henry III, when for the health of the company neither should be on the BOD.

Bill what do you think Henry I or Henry II would think of Fords mission statement “ We are here for one purpose, to help build a better world where every person is free to move and pursue their dreams.” ?
Pretty sure they would tell you Ford is a business not the Miss America pageant. Ford’s mission should be to build affordable, safe, reliable, quality automobiles that customers want to buy and drive.

What is needed is a 1940s Henry II that purges the BOD and leadership ranks and brings qualified proven engineers, not a series of charlatans brought in by a charlatan. Or another AM.

Fear not, we can get close to Applewhite, in appearance at least. Let's hire Alejandro Mayorkas. He looks just like Marshall Applewhite and he is unemployed and available right now.

Bill and his EV wet dream almost put the company under and may still yet.

BF has made many changes post-Covid19 to position the company for the future. He has brought on new leadership like DF, created new business units (Model e, Pro, and Blue), plus many other strategic choices.

this is so true (from the article):

"Ford had access to inexpensive capital, brands, R&D, dealer networks, and production facilities to have beaten Tesla as its own game very early in the commercial development of EVs a decade ago."

bobble heads. "nope, no need to check any of these numbers! rubber stamp!"

Every word in this article is true. When you invest in the Ford Motor Company, you are basically along for the ride with the Ford Family, and they make all the decisions. The board members are just nodding bobble heads. The only reason to own the stock is that it’s cheap and it pays a good dividend, considering its cheap price.

Ford will be here in another 100 years because it is family controlled. All the others will just be brands under Ford one day.
