Tomorrow I have my annual review and I am so worried about what my rating will be. Through our the entire year I have not had any supervisor or manager tell me I need to improve anything, my productivity either meets expectation monthly or exceeds it just depends on the month, I help out my co workers and other teams when needed. I’m polite to my manager and she’s never told me I need to improve on anything when we have our 1:1s but still I’m so worried

Same. Boss said I was a "high" 4. Whatever that means. Well I guess it means 1.6%. Moral is in the toilet.
I was a 4 and got a 1.6% raise.
The problem is your manager may think you are a 4 or 5 but the directors can only have so many 4 & 5, so it’s a cat fight to see who they bump down to a 3 to make their numbers. And they also need some 2s- but with all these layoffs there shouldn’t be any 2s left. It’s all a game unfortunately
Haven't done a review with my boss, they have been out, but found out today when I didn't get my bonus check, I've been downgraded to a 2. I am a part of the 3/31 layoffs. Did they just fu-k me out of my severance too?
And now with the mygps nonsense it is even more useless. Been here 15 years and never knew what my goals were til I saw the annual review. Mostly all gibberish I had no control over. I just make a list very year send it to manager what i did they cut and past in the form. I have done self evaluation once about 10 years ago waste of time
Been here over 16 years. After year 3, I just copied and pasted my MBOs to my current review. over and over, every year. ...If sh-t hasn't changed for you in 3 years, it never will...
What is the point of having agreed upon performance "success criteria" for what a 3, 4, & 5 looks like for various categories, attaining 4 and 5 levels on all those categories but then being given a 3 rating?? Kinda makes one say f-it and just give 3 level effort going forward.
I had a review one year and received 3's and 4's. I disagreed with my manager. He agreed that I was doing the work of 4's and 5's. But he couldn't give them to me. My increase then reflected the 3-4 not the 4-5. I was then let go.
I have always been an "exceeds" on one-to-one's and annuals then I get hit with a "meets expectations" this year. The ratings are all BS. I am convinced a lot has to do with the relationship you have with your supervisor as well. I personally have noticed a difference in the way I have been treated the last 6 months, as I've always had a close relationship with my sup, then I get my first meets expectations this year. Don't really care because I'm not here to make friends, just give me my check and leave me alone to do my job.
Be worried because I performed 4/5 and didn’t get sh-t.
There are teams who have not done annual reviews with every employee yet it is not fake and not everyone is going to check their payroll this week to see what their pay will be until after they meet with their manager
Not fake many years i did not get the results til the day before the check hit.
Fake - reviews have all been completed and submitted to payroll already
