Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Godda-n, so many deadweights

So much fat yet to be trimmed. Nowhere near the bottom yet. Good luck hiding within the system, it's not going to end well

Everyone I know is working the equivalent of 2-3 pre-pandemic roles. Yes so much fat left to trim /s

We’re well into trimming meat, soon we will be cutting into bone.

How much more is there really to be trimmed? I know every team us different, but my team was informed yesterday that every last one of us will be required to work every holiday this year unless we can increase our headcount. Which seems highly unlikely given current trends.

"accountable and visible" - could you be any more of an butt kisser? Who cares what another employee is or isn't doing?

Stay in your lane and worry about yourself. Plenty to do there, to keep you busy for years, Karen.

Layoffs are great. As the headcount dwindles, folks become more accountable & visible. Also, the important stuff that needs to be done gets prioritized and the BS drops off.
