Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Has anyone received their merit increases?

What are raises looking like this year?

It is becoming increasingly difficult to continue to go above an beyond in our roles.

I enjoy working with my immediate team. With that said, this will be 2nd year in a row where my overall comp (bonus + salary) will be lower than the previous year.

This isn't even taking into account the large increases of benefit costs OR the surcharge per paycheck they take due to my spouse getting benefits through cvs vs her job.

Add in the inflation of the past couple of years, and it's an ugly picture.

All the financial letdown, constant fear of rounds of layoffs, and brain drain of talent being let go.....how are they really expecting us to give even more effort this year than previous years to make up for their poor running of the company?

Rated a 3, got just a hair under 3%

I had taken a promotion and pay bump in December to an entirely new team/area so was actually surprised to get anything.

It basically just made up for the sh---y raise the last two years and evens it all out.

Rated a 4. Got 3.6%, which is basically what I always get. Excited to lose even more $$$ this year relative to inflation with our big fat bonus <3

Was told today that 3% is the full funded amount. You can get more or less depending on performance and your pay relative to your peers.

Merit increase information won’t be released to people managers until Monday at earliest. Until then, no one will know final comp numbers.

"There are no raises, people took a 70% haircut on their bonus and no merit increase will make up for that".

This is a true statement. Take a look at your year-over-year income after you get your comp statement. Then, wait until the new benefit costs are released in June, because you know there will be drastic increases that will further reduce your take-home pay this year.

There are no raises, people took a 70% haircut on their bonus and no merit increase will make up for that. Karen Lynch was paid millions to destroy the company though and a 300k+ advisory fee each month after getting fired. Isn't that nice? How many bonuses could that have paid for?
