The cuts should come from First line managers and all the way up to the Board. Management has messed this up so bad that got into this place and should be responsible for getting Intel in this mess.

I prefer 2 new CEOs by next month and each will layoff another 10K to hit the target total ~20K for 2025 by the end of this year
2024: 15K layoffs
2025: 20K layoffs
2026: 25K
2027: 50K <—— break even
2028: 60K
2029: 70K
2030: 80K
Intel hasn't completed a new factory in 20 years. Lay me off in a couple months right when the entire company collapses.
Stupid question
the beatings will continue till morale improves... this shows that intel and all cos that use this gem of mgmt science strongly believe that fear and pressure drive productivity... this is wrong but they still do it...
they cut costs by overworking employees instead of investing in better leadership and support. also wrong...
they expect workers to stay motivated despite constant stress and job insecurity, this never ever happens
execs prioritize short term gains over long goals (and emp satisfactions) - they lose long term, lose talent, nobody wants to be treated like junk.
they ignore the fact that unhappy employees become less productive, so - the fear works a bit, and then it does not. to manage this way is stupid.
they refuse to acknowledge that a toxic environment leads to burnout and high turnover, attrition thru the roof, instituional knowledge lost. the end.
they assume people will endure anything for a paycheck, which is wrong especially in industries where everything is about knowledge and iq
oh, well, they just dont see see that real morale comes from respect stability and fair treatment not from punishment. but rest asured, their bank accounts are swollen
I prefer to freeze time in 2004, before social media and the iPhone ruined the world.
I prefer that the economy tanks and MAGA klownns lose the jobs they think are so safe, but most definitely aren't.
New CEO
The beatings will continue till Morale improves.
Keep the cuts coming, can we start with the board and Intel Corporate though?
