Hey folks,
Just wanted to write all the current Intel folks and tell y’all a few things. For those who want to stay, I really wish you guys the best of the luck but it really isn’t looking like there is a light is actually at the end of the tunnel for Intel from the outside.
For those who are hesitant of leaving because they got used to Intel and it is there “safe zone” emotionally. Trust me I felt the same, however, after 6 years at Intel, I have been emotionally and physically exhausted between the politics and the emotional toll of constant layoffs. For the last round of CPM, I literally made it a personal goal to apply to 5 jobs a day and behold, I had two offers for a higher pay package because of it. When I left Intel, it was a little scary, but now after a few months, in the new role, I am happy again to see that my hard work does payoff and I having an impact again on the market, consumers, and the business. No more managers, trying to steal credit for my ideas, and no more clique work culture where all middle managers look out for themselves and circle j**k themselves over the weekend while playing with our lives.
The point of this post is, if you are hesitant of leaving, it is completely understandable, but take the leap, the grass is actually greener on the other side…
