Very sorry to hear 165 lost their jobs in coal mine. They were a Non-Union mine so they had no rights. Prayers their way.

Had they been Union coal miners they would have received a great severance and benefit package and after care.
One day before the consolidation of Arch and Consol Energy , a fire broke out in the mine. All made it out ok. Around 29 million in insured damages. Workers went back to work. Then few days later 165 were laid off. A lot of money floating around, just not any for the 165 laid off miners. Typical for a Non-Union coal mine.
