Amazing that someone could be chosen to be President of Upstream that never even visited an Offshore Platform or FPSO.
Liam had spent a couple of years rotating offshore early in his career then held various upstream positions in many countries.
When asked his thoughts on Dan assuming president in a townhall, Uncon SVP outright stated he must be “drinking from a fire hose” to learn the upstream. FFS, we shouldn’t have senior executives drinking from a fire hose to learn the business they’re in charge of leading.

Perception is no respect for workforce or team - which isn’t great in a leadership role. But a VP appointment late last year had same behaviors of disregarding expertise of team so perhaps it’s what’s now expected of leadership.
The corporation finally hires some outside talent and we get a “car” guy from “GM” who is not winning.
