Thread regarding BNSF Railway layoffs

It was bound to happen

A craftsman was seriously injured in Temple while trying to make an "extra release". Local management was setting unrealistic goals and overextending the available manpower and it finally bit them in the a-s.

How will the current regime try to sweep this one under the rug?

Didn't a terminal superintendent get fired recently for failures in leadership? Someone come walk this clown Robert Burnau off property before someone else falls prey to production over safety.

The Alliance Nebraska Mechanical Facility decided to scab work out to save a few dimes when the parts changers already had enough on their plates.
The injuries are bound to keep happening when you have folks that aren't qualified to do a task safely and efficiently.

Alliance has tons of injury's the past few months. Its not good at all. Why are they not rebuilding the Yard office, taking track out of service all around the coal loop, storing cars on the main line, Managers selling their houses and renting?
