I finally was offered and accepted a fully remote outside offer and put in my notice. Is there anything special I should do or know about leaving Dell? I feel so lucky that I am actually getting out before RTO, it’s been such a mentally unhealthy place for long enough!

They won, you left for free!
Goal of up to 38% WFR coming in August.
They do not care if you are not happy.
Looking to India for staffing cost reduction.
Get a copy of your W2 if in the US. Make sure you change all subscription emails to a personal one if you want to keep them or pay $$ for them. Take the $500 fitness allowance--you can use it to buy an electric bike if you can't think of anything else. And say goodbye to the co-workers that you care about.
Congrats, and good luck moving forward.
If you are in the States, then make sure you have setup your ADP payroll site to go to your personal email address and have your phone number registered with it.
Also make sure you have your Well At Dell website password and login setup for home.
Well done on finding a job.
Don't leave us all alone! Nobody wants us.
Congratulations for taking control of your own career and life instead of waiting and waiting and waiting for an WFR that might never come. And evidently some of you do not know this, but it is possible that the new employer gave a sign-on bonus to offset the loss of the Dell bonus.
They might ask you to leave now . Should have said nothing and double dipped.
THe fitness reimbursement is $500 now
If you have any Inspire points, fitness rewards, etc., make sure you use them up prior to leaving.
That $300 fitness reimbursement option is a nice way to upgrade your home gym. :)
Work both of them until bonus then wuit
RSU vesting...lol
You realize that not everyone gets RSUs, right?
Why would you leave right before bonus payout and RSU vesting?
HR scheduled a meeting with me for Monday. Is this normal?
Hope it works out for you! the stress has been getting very overwhelming
Well done, Michael thanks you for helping him to reduce headcount for free and wishes you all the best.
