What a quick hot mess this place has turned into since the failed acquisition! When you start to see good people turning severely disgruntled and leaving on their own, it's time for a fool like me to follow. People are being treated like sl--e. Can anyone comment regarding the junk exit packages as I start "cleaning" up my desk?

so many mindless theories that make zero business sense being thrown around here. not worth wasting time addressing them.
I have not witnessed anything that rotely resembles a mass exodus of top people.
only thing was people in obvious overlap positions in case of a merger, but that seems to have slowed down.
I’m involved in the lay off process. The package ain’t worth it. It’s basically 3 months max. You can try to negotiate but as soon as you do - the deal is gone.
The people that are “in charge” have no business being anywhere near an admin role. Pseudo or not.
Sad what's happening to the SE org. Good peoples.
The same can be said for enterprise SE’ing
Commercial Sales Engineering, once recognized as a leader in the industry, seems to be facing challenges due to the actions of a few individuals within the department. This has led to a decline in its overall effectiveness and reputation. One bad apple can spoil the bunch.
So good people are leaving and bad people will be laid off? Will anybody be left then :)
There seems to be rumors of a reorg and a subsequent layoffs happening around mid March. The perception among execs seems to be that the people who are leaving post the bonus are key performers. The ones left behind can be dispensed with.
Any team closing any big deals or any deals for that matter ? There doesn’t seem like any except the mist team leveraging the court docs to show how great they seem comparatively to others . Also, do we know if they will give us the bonus ? Heard that it’s going to be stalled or some teams not getting any at all
This acquisition is an existential threat to the existing Aruba folks and they wouldn't also want this to happen.
The leadership and especially the CEO are in it for the money. RR makes $50M when the deal closes and will do whatever it takes to ensure that. Find a better opportunity, take the bonus and leave. That's exactly what I am planning to do. Putting in my papers a week from now.
How many “Mist folks” you think will stay once after all this is done ? The only people bringing in value per se ? After that it’s a complete downhill ….They are in a hiring spree in India based on a LinkedIn post . Long before teams are eliminated here and outsourced
Im still here and will provide updates as they arise.
No Package if you leave "on your own"
