Apple promised Trump to spend billions in America on manufacturing. They moved manufacturing from China to India and now it is not very difficult to move to America. They have even priced their latest SE model at 30% higher than their previous model. With 25% tariff on semiconductors Apple will look to manufacture all its semiconductors in America.
Expect income tax cuts to compensate for higher prices. Government revenues are rejigged to tariffs on imports. More manufacturing will move to America.
Trump is rewiring the world economy. Unfortunately China will be cut out. All Chinese companies will die in America. This time tariffs are for real because Mexico and Canada are part of the tariffs. That loophole is closed for real.
