Additional workforce reductions are expected as part of ongoing cost-cutting measures. The focus will be on eliminating redundant positions, streamlining duplicate roles, and reducing reliance on out-of-state employees and contractors. These cuts are part of a broader effort to optimize efficiency, improve operational effectiveness, and align the workforce with current business priorities.

At a minimum we will see people leave on their own this year and those positions not get filled in again. So overall decrease in headcount.

I strongly believe it’s just the beginning. Are the flights full? How’s the customer service? It seems moral is down and every dept is managed poorly. Things will change but I think SW is headed for more cost savings initiatives and contract employees are next with their big labor dollars and paying people that have been there for years making $$$

No, the $210 million savings throughout the year is in line with salaries being cut at 4/22. Do the math.

I can't help but think we'll be having cuts throughout the entire year.
