Will Crown plan a layoff right before our annual bonus?
To add - why are we all draining in more work to do, but Crown won’t offer a raise!?

Crown does layoffs regularly so you should anticipate something soon. They should just agree to $8B from Zayo now and lay us off to get it done with before the bonus. Otherwise they are wasting more money. If they wait til after bonus is distributed they might not offer severance packages.
They are draining you with more work because there’s not enough manpower to handle all the backlog. I hope Zayo will be handling the Cc backlog in March.
Now is a good time to do more layoffs since everyone is getting laid off all over the place from public to private sector. Look at the homepage of this site and you’ll see all the companies currently downsizing.
