Thread regarding State Street Corp. layoffs

Great place to work . . .

If you live in Ireland, Poland, India. If you live in the USA State Street wants to be rid of you, erode the tax base, and hire foreigners.

Your 100% right, but Indian culture is based on a 1,000+ year old
culture called a Caste system.

Were jobs are segregated on job type, and value to society.
The lowest people on the caste system are called untouchables .

They are the men and women who do all the dirty jobs, unsafe jobs.

So the people who come from Indian as H1b workers and work in the U.S bring
that Caste system idea with them.

Its brutal here in America where most of the workers you have to interact with are Indian-born people. The worst ones are Indians that get place into management positions. They start living in a fantasy land where they think they're part of the royal family and mistreat others like peasants and servants. I can't stand them because they do the least amount of work and spend most of the time talking highly about themselves. I get more accomplished by talking to a wall.

Sorry but I have worked with people from Asia , Europe and Canada and found them highly skilled at their job.

Unlike the Indian staff which doesn't believe in doing quality error free work.
The people who are not trained to think outside the box if they have a problem.

These countries are not great places to work. If you have colleagues there, give them a call. Ask them about job cuts in Ireland and the transition processes they’ve experienced. Talk to colleagues in Poland and India about their salaries and what they can actually afford with their earnings at State Street. Discuss the high attrition rates and the reasons behind them. When speaking with colleagues from India and Poland, also ask about the lack of respect they often face from countries where English is the first language.

Left the company and didn’t look back. Worked through the SSC, now you’re IBM, now you’re Kyndryl, now you’re HCL years. HCL made it easy to leave…absolutely clueless Indian management turning the sc--ws on service agreements, leaving a lot of talented local staff frustrated and also planning their exits.
