A Florida store manager has been fired after she found an employees debit card on the floor and drove two hours away to use the card to buy a $2,500 ring, the 49 year old manager gave the card to her boyfriend to use but she was seen walking in the jewelry store on video and leaving in the same car with the man who purchased the ring with the stolen card.

Please read, someone said it happened with a Marshall's manager, not Macy's
Where's the source and I would like to know what location in Florida?
Sorry, this was a Marshall’s manager someone accidentally posted this on the Macys page, both companies start with M
I reported a lead for stealing fashion jewelry and she was promoted shortly after to captain
This division is routinely one of the best performing in the company. It's hard to believe that this level of dishonesty could have gone unnoticed without a permissive environment. Continued reductions in AP and oversight measures foster a breakdown in integrity and lead people with morale flexibility to believe they can get away with actions they wouldn't have dreamed of taking in the past. How many visits did this store manager have with divisional, regional, and corporate leaders? Nobody picked up on the signs because we no longer have people with the judgement and experience to do so.
What about that integrity question asked in every interview???
This is a shame and disgrace.
Every store manager I’ve had over the past 15 years has been a role model for integrity and honesty.
what store?
quick she needs to be Promoted !! all the bad people get ahead at macys.. the hard workers get nothing
Wow, our lost and found has a couple dozen credit and debit cards that people left behind at the registers all the time. Now imagine a situation where a store manager who likes to use other peoples cards has access to a never ending supply of lost cards, probably for years. Not good.
What an embarrassment, which district did she work in? That's the problem with choosing and promoting people based on their willingness to say what leadership wants to hear instead of valuing integrity and choosing managers who have the courage to tell the truth, you get people like this.
lol how can you work for the company and be so dense. She must have known there are cameras in the parking lot?
Making 6 figures is not enough.
Talk about a failure in hospitality
Wowser
