It doesn’t matter how hard you work, they will sc--w you over. They funded bonuses at 57% corporate wide last year and this year it was around 70%. A lot of people didn’t get merit raises and those that did were minimal. My org only gave merits to those on the bottom end of the pay scale to bring them up to where they should be, but by doing so they give the middle finger to everyone else.
My boss said he gave me a 4, but executives reduced it to a 3 so my bonus was lower.
I want to look for a new job, but also don’t want them give them what they want— people to leave for free.
Waiting for Witty to get another 12% raise this year (as h did last year).

It's nothing more than pushing people to leave to be replaced by offshore. Its simple. Stock is in free fall. Debt ratio is higher than it has been in years. Execs are selling stock.
Just like last year. It was obvious then, its obvious now.
@a9+1jmgj3sqr and you probably are a sh-t manager who no one likes anyways, who doesn’t have any real management training and should go back to your own country you spawned from.
Yes it's being done to save money while at the same time pushing people to leave. It's obvious but up to you to leave on your own, reduce your effort, or wait for a layoff
You really sound like a beaten down person. It's like you don't even want to fight for your career or life and you'd rather sit there like a stale loaf of bread and collect a paycheck like you're sticking it to them....
If you really are the superstar you think you are, why can't you just find the job that pays you more? It's amazing the loser mentality on this board I see.
The only person you're hurting is yourself. I can already tell the work you do isn't as important you think because if it was your leaving would cause people to panic etc. Face it, this is quiet firing and you're not even seeing it.
Get your priorities in order quickly and start fighting for yourself. You only have one life.
Same boat.. you work hard and the lazy ones get the bonus or the merit increase
yup
