Someone please tell CA to stop showing off his package at AHM.

Generally, the packages get smaller as more layoff rounds occur. Looking back at it, the ones that got the axe in the early rounds are better off. They got better severance packages and "released" in a time when the job market wasn't this bad. Qcom is just another sweatshop
My bet is that packages will not be offered to very many people this time. QCOM is looking instead to force people to quit with ever-worsening benefits, ridiculously low pay raises and now the order to be in the office every day. Many are (or will be) headed for the exit, saving CA precious "shareholder value".
If you ask to go remote you will be put on the layoff list which will get you your package
If you ask for remote, package will not come unfortunately.
Ask to go remote and take your package and get the he-l out of there...
