Thread regarding 3M layoffs

There is no opportunity at 3M

How many town halls do we have to endure where leaders get asked a pointed question about opportunity and career advancement only to completely dodge and waffle.

They aren't answering because there is no opportunity. Things are not improving, and they're not doing anything.

I need a new job.

3M is run by Tireman and Kearney.

BB is a mercenary CEO. He has no vision since he wants to blow things up and move on with his 10s of millions.

One of the most value-added roles 3M ever created were the MTEs. They linked research with production. Tireman with experience with tires and coffee batista nuked 100s of these people to get his coveted 3 performance ranking and an cool extra million in bonuses.

But I recommend just watching TPIR on your phone not linked to company internet server. Make laps around 3M Center and trips to coffee.

Got out after 17 years, felt sad leaving friends and colleagues who went through the painful and memorable journey with me. But I don't miss the company.

Wonder if Tireman can help some of us get jobs at Kearney.

3M has been a dumpster fire for many years. Best to move on.
