Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Did Navid perform very well in MPE and DEG?

Why he is selected to takeover TD?

@ac Keyvan was on Conan in the aughts, and his ample charisma was on display even then.

@ kc+1jmfc2f0h,

Absolutely correct. SP is the worst manager ever to have worked for Intel.

No room for him in IFS side and accommodated in product side to reduce the 2-in-box. His only accomplishment is creating Intel's internal tester platform instead of using industry-standards such as Advantest and Teradyne - and now IFS customers don't want the internal solution because it is so far behind. He apparently also has selective memory in meetings unless you write good meeting minutes

Former DEG employee here: he moved for the same reason Jag is just waiting out his retirement and doing nothing of substance but send out the stupid congratulations email anytime some empty milestone is met. Navid, Jag, Sandip Pandey. All cogs of the same wheel, useless Intel Management, without any skill whatsoever that accrue salary, lead groups into flashy projects that go nowhere and jump ship right before they crash or they get cancelled. DMR is the next biggest nothing coming, all of these people oversaw it and are responsible for the mess it is now. Navid, is simply a manager escaping the mess and left before it all comes crumbling down. Intel protects its managers.

Keyvan was a blathering dolt.

I literally could not listen to him in any presentation I saw him give.

So many nonstop words to say so little.

Given his reputation at RNB, it was surprising to me that he would be put in charge of the factories, but not surprising how it turned out.
