Thread regarding Apache Corp. layoffs

The worst part

The worst part was moving us into the new building. We were no longer isolated in POC and we were able to get to know each other in the new building. People were no longer just a name on Teams, but rather someone you would say hi to in the elevator.

Hopefully Round 2 isn’t the worst part.

Exactly! You work on what’s required of the role, in terms of responsibilities, it wasn’t your choice when you were put in that role.

Unfortunate for so many who ended up in a role which the high and mighty (or so they think) felt was not tied to the new asset based org.

It’s all bullsh-t jobs in a billshit fiat system. We are just polishing the brass on the titanic. It’s all going down. Unless you have bitcoin.

The worst part is that the people who were let go was because they were in the wrong role at the wrong time.

This had nothing to do with their performance because I knew many were good performers.
