Not sure about IDG Marketing. One thing we’ve been told at least 10 times is that, there will be a freeze on travel sometime in the summer. We’re also being told the remainder of fiscal 25/26 will be extremely difficult. This leads me to believe we may see layoffs in the fall.

Am I the only one surprised to see no travel freeze or RA’s with all that is going on as we speak?

I heard ISG Software and at least one ISG server product manager.

I’m in IDG and have not heard of any RA ‘s so far. What is definitely going on as of late is a ratcheting up of micro management. We’ve got a handful of new “Compliance Teams” asking us for useless cr-p
ISG Development, a couple of the older employees are 'retiring'.
I had know someone who was notified on the 11th of February, NA IDG Sales Ops.
I heard few IDG engineers got notified already.
I also feel this isn't the main layoff. Does anyone know what's to come? I see a lot of smoke and mirrors and I think it's suspicious. I'd guess that this is round one of??? I heard of edge team vulnerability.
Is ISG the only area affected so far?
Looks like ISG might be staggering their layoffs. Perhaps makes it easier for limited bandwidth in HR team to process the massive cuts, or could it be something more nefarious?
No notifications yet, but ISG engineering just got a surprise all hands meeting request. Suspect it's today.
