It’s amazing how a good layoff all of a sudden makes people decide to start actually working to try to justify their existence.
All of a sudden there are emails and meetings requested from people you haven’t heard from for YEARS.

You sat on your collective as--s sipping coffee in Laces and doing anything but your job far too long.
How did we get here?
Simple: Apathy inspired by “labor contracts” making you all a little too safe in your existence, and not allowing us to remove the lazy, or as we say here “fauler Lump”
A good and healthy company should always be able to cut and shuffle the bottom performers, and optimize resources.
Works council be damned: we have protected the inept, lazy, and bureaucratic politics based workers for too long. It is about time here in Germany we take guidance from how the other countries who keep beating us in the market do it: remove them
