Thread regarding CDK Global Inc. layoffs

More layoffs?

I see we have a few more on LinkedIn stating available for work - infrastructure hosting areas. Does that mean another round of layoffs?

Can confirm, as a number of former CDK colleagues are on LinkedIn looking for work, and one even said it was a layoff yesterday.

Don’t worry our ‘little’ brains as H said.

I'm sure they know of the layoffs but there executives could care less. Only people affecting are us poor folks on both sides working under them.

I’m simply amazed no one has emailed ai link to this site to all they big clients’ executives yet saying “CDK fired everyone, but hasn’t told you that, that’s why your service is bad now”

After laying out $700m or more (not counting whatever under-the-table bennies/concessions they offered to Autonation, Lithia, and Asbury to not leave), it made a huge dent in a company that only takes in maybe $1.6bn/yr EBITDA these days, tops.

I'm waiting for Brookfield to realize they got totally ripped off by BM and his crew, and either claw back the money from them via lawsuit, or perhaps even hire hitmen at this point.

So is anyone able to shed more details on what actually happened? How we got compromised, and are we sure we are now as secure as we can be?

It is more like $730 million - $100 million to settle the class action suit from dealers in August, then $630 million to settle the anti-trust and collusion suit last month. Now let's think about the fallout from the negligence and poor handling of the "disruption" last June ... more to come

"quiet" layoff of the few remaining north american experts. Everything is going to the outsourcers.

If the intention is to bleed the company dry, they are doing a great job at it.
