My guess is that when the desired amount of attrition is achieved, the senior execs will look the other way when individual managers ease up on the RTO enforcement.

never if you want to get paid, you will have to put your 40 hours in at the office and learn to enjoy your non funded commute.

I’m still interested in seeing if there will be a minimum amount of time required on site. Since employees don’t badge out, and people are on and off the network at different times during the day because they could be shadowing someone, attending a training, or in a meeting that doesn’t require a laptop. So how do you measure the amount of time someone is actually on site?

Eventually, yes completely agree. But I’m also certain that it will be used when leaders need an excuse to put team members on a pip or reduce their IBP’s.
