Now that ZG is going, do you think they will really keep the ELT at the current 8 or do you think they will add someone actually competent to deal with Elliott or just stick with the DEI beauty queens on display.

Woah, cowboy! You need to put a muzzle on that. This ain't the wild, wild west. There are internal controls in place. No more talk of Enron66, please. Some of us do want to keep our jobs.
Let’s go enron66!
“The market doesn’t care what you did to make them rich.”
No, but the Federal Government does.
Some Enron stuff right there.
Shocking they aren’t, they are both bloated, corrupt and woke. Thank goodness the gov’t dumpster fire is being fixed. If P66 was smart, they would take this hiatus from regulatory scrutiny for what it is, a chance for them to blow the lid off origination and business development. The CCO can’t write a sentence without typos, she sure as he-l can’t keep her eyes on emerging markets and opportunities. If I was Commercial I would spend some of my budget on hiring true legal/compliance support and GO BABY GO. There are no internal controls to stop you from bypassing them. Ask for forgiveness later, the market doesn’t care about what you did to make them rich.
What do you want that chucklefu-k to do about it? You might be shocked to know p66 isn't part of the federal government.

Does anyone have a contact at Elliott? Let’s just cut to the chase, I’ve got 3-4 recent alumni ready to talk.
@10d+1jmat3xzr - you are spot on! Hiring her basically ki-led the Origination function right out the gate. I honestly don’t know how she got through screening to even apply for the CCO role. Clearly Legal leadership didn’t understand Commercial strategy or they would have hired to support it. The CCO can’t find her way out of a paper bag and hasn’t been a practicing lawyer for over 20 years. Newsflash, willfull blindness isn’t an acceptable defense for a compliance program, but I guess that would insinuate they have a clue what they are doing.
Saucy have pics of the go man?
How is the CCO hurting the Commercial business? Are deals being stopped because someone thinks they are out of compliance? Please explain.
Have any of you been in meetings with the Beauty Queen or her DEI henchwomen? It’s jaw dropping how bad and generally confused they come across. GoGo needs to go and whoever takes over needs to do something with the Legal/Compliance leadership. The mess that’s responsible for litigation talks and talks but says nothing. In compliance, the hits keep coming and when we have a CCO that doesn’t know what we in Commercial actually do, she is hurting our business because of the general state of confusion and we are missing on business opportunities. I hope Elliott is watching this site!
Z, Saucy, The Beauty Queen, and others are mere symptoms of what’s wrong with P66.
The true problems begin and end with Gogo.
Oh I like the DEI trashing, I believe it to be valid. If we’ve been in a pickle for some time now, why add DEI candidates vs. hiring the best available? DEI hiring amidst a leadership problem simply exacerbates the underlying problems and gives people more opportunity to pile on.
But don’t think that fake Sean Connery saucy CFO will escape my ridicule! He’s actually on his second midlife crisis, the man simply won’t stop! He’s a machine.
People don’t quit the job, they quit their leadership.
I just have one question for the blatant racist/s-xist focus on our leaders - is it any better in the groups that are majority white led? How is Refining leadership team? Midstream? Marketing? Commercial? Any of these groups doing exceptionally better than the others?
We have a leadership crisis on our hands on the ELT & LG but let’s be fair about it. The DEI candidates are not doing well, ok. But I don’t see anyone else doing any better. CFO seems to be going through mid life crisis. Head of IR has been failing to sell our integrated value chain story for years. Ex CTO defected to McK. We don’t have a DEI problem. We have a leadership problem. I don’t care what color and gender they are, if they can right this ship.
@j5+1jmat3xzr B M, pun intended, needs to go after dropping the deuce who now runs commercial. If he cared about commercial, there's no way he'd have chosen that bell
end with no experience in trading, supply, distribution or marketing to run it. The hemorrhaging of talent wont stop until the vitol wannabe goes the way of Z G.

The beauty queen’s sole mission is to bring in DEI hires at the highest levels. Check out her LinkedIn posts people! The Chief Compliance Officer brought in by the beauty queen is inexperienced and treats her staff horribly. The beauty queen’s DGC of Litigation failed to appropriately manage the Propel Lawsuit which will cost P66 $600 MM.
When I worked with B M, I found him to be very open and collaborative with his teams. He had a fairly open door policy and listened to ideas and concerns. Besides, most of the people in EE have worked with him before.
EE moving under Brian, it is a joke another ELT member that is good for nothing and who snoozes in meetings . Lot of dead weight at the very top that needs to go
Yeah, but he’s the only one stupid enough to sign his name on those financials! Where is Internal Audit in all this hot mess? I thought it was against the law to hire auditors to prepare the financials for auditors or something…..
I met ZG a few times, to say she was allegedly a people person, she was probably the coldest person I met at the company on the ELT. I would say that she was the most unqualified but we have a CFO who cant stop paying for his private endeavours
Wow. Guess the CCO didn’t like the truth being posted. Just in case you missed it, here’s the encore! “I’ll take the beauty queen over the true DEI hire that is the Chief Compliance Officer (aka Head of Ethics or lack thereof) and the wrecking ball of an HR nightmare (ex Head of DEI at John Deere). If you want to pin the downfall of P66 culture, look no further! Delete it again and the next letter will be to Elliott.
I don't know about the ELT, but the Board of Directors is going to be reduced from 14 to 12 beginning at the next Annual Meeting. 2 members who were up for re-election have decided not to run.
Can someone tell me what a “diverse” candidate is?
Yeah, I don't get the hand-wringing over DEI. The only criteria for promotion the last few years has been the deep-throated, enthusiastic fellating of business transformation. Race doesn't enter into it.
But hey, if it really bugs you that much, leak our inclusion page on twitter. Tons of dum--ss Republicans that will swear to boycott us until we get rid of it.
Why are people so racist and worried about DEI. Black and woman have been left out of the “Good Old Boy” network for centuries. I remember when the woman I worked with could not go into the Frank Phillips men’s club, they had to go sew in Jane’s room. So I didn’t go and went to get ice cream with them.
I’m sorry I am white but I really enjoy diversity and learning about different cultures and makes the work place better.
As my parents said if you don’t have something nice to say do t say it!
Plus Woman are the boss at home, so why any different at work!
It’s true that Z didn’t do much in emerging energy but that’s not why Elliott is here.
Gogo failure to boost earnings and the stock price are the real drivers of the situation we now find ourselves in.
L G Member - how so? I mean, my mom is the nicest person I know, that doesn’t make her the best person to deal with Elliott. BTW was not just referring to the actual beauty queen in the original post, but for this question, I am.
What makes her qualified? I see she was involved in a (failed) merger and that Congress had to get involved in a labor dispute at her prior employer. Do either of those things signal success? (They don’t to me, but maybe you know better) She left for here before that last employer was dealing with an activist - so what makes her qualified other than being nice? And just to put it out there - is nice and advantage in this situation?
(Not just trying to be snarky - I don’t know her at all and whatever is coming down the pipe with Elliott is going to be really bad. The ELT will all be fine - they are all rich, so whatever. Its the rest of us that will end up struggling to make the mortgage payment)
But, but, but! Who’ll they get to do nothing in Emerging Energy for 3 years.
Also, the beauty queen over saw the Propel Fuels loss so it doesn’t appear she’s top notch.
Maybe they can promote L and D “leadership.
Saucey approved!
They will not add another.
The beauty queen mentioned may be the most qualified of them all to lead us out of this. She also happens to be an excellent person.
Duh, replace with another dei evp
