Thread regarding Cargill layoffs

What’s happened in UK I hear lots been badly treated

Are UK employees linked to European consultation? I heard Cargill has treated people really badly, many being told they are out rather than consulted as intended. No justification, no attempt to resolve or support. Surely the European councils have authority to step in?

Cargill is a nasty business at every level. You may not see it internally but it’s there as everyone closely guards their domain and weaves a complex web. Leadership is very poor. Result is a ginormous nasty business. The faster it fails the better for the world

I don’t mean to sound rude, but that’s how it was executed in NA. Brutal business. Wake up one day and you’re just done.

Unfortunately Cargill is badly advised as they are behaving like cowboys. They have shown themselves to be very bad employers. I don’t know about link to Europe hope they can challenge or stop the corporate puppets
