Some areas know how many people will be let go, but they have no idea who or when, and it could take up to two years for everyone to be notified or affected? Am I misunderstanding this? Please tell me I’m wrong because this sounds unnecessarily cruel. Why do things like this?

Has this been confirmed? I’m curious to know if others have been talked to while others are in the dark. Maybe we are all in the dark. I just know I have been unable to think clearly at work since last Thursday.
