Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Time to change some things

Instead of bending over backward to accommodate everyone at all hours, I’ve decided to embrace the “flying under the radar” phase. My new plan? Do the bare minimum, stay off everyone’s radar, and when the time comes, collect my paycheck. It’s not my usual approach, but since all my effort so far hasn’t paid off in any way, I’m done trying.

How do you do this in sales?

If you don't work, you don't hit target, you don't get paid.

Do just enough not to get fired and you will be promoted at a quicker pace.

Same. Just do your job, whatever that means (bare minimum, etc). Stay ready for the next gig elsewhere.
