Instead of bending over backward to accommodate everyone at all hours, I’ve decided to embrace the “flying under the radar” phase. My new plan? Do the bare minimum, stay off everyone’s radar, and when the time comes, collect my paycheck. It’s not my usual approach, but since all my effort so far hasn’t paid off in any way, I’m done trying.

Been doing that since the takeover and freely admit it to friends and family.
Welcome to the JC club!
How do you do this in sales?
If you don't work, you don't hit target, you don't get paid.
Do just enough not to get fired and you will be promoted at a quicker pace.
You're gunning for a Director role, aren't you?
Just make sure you take advantage of training to stay current when you decied you've had enough.
Good luck
long way to say what many of us are doing last few years

Same. Just do your job, whatever that means (bare minimum, etc). Stay ready for the next gig elsewhere.
Check and Mate.
