The ELT is so focused on these types of sales with razor thin margins that they're neglecting the rest of the Enterprise biz that we got from EMC. They should just merge with Nvidia so we can assemble their solutions. You know, Nvidia servers, Nvidia Pro servers and Pro Max servers...

Almost forgot the second focus - the great forthcoming 'PC refresh cycle'!

Dell struggles to sell anything with any degree of competency so I guarantee we fu-k this one up.

Any delays will be subject to SLAs which will really drive profitability into the red. It’s Dell effectively investing in X, and hoping . . . How is the Dell service org viewed by the industry?

"Our best hope is for our deployment teams to outperform the others."

So basically we're doomed. Every time I've had to work with one of our deployment teams I have been left wondering if any one of them can even find their own backside with both hands.

HP is behind for these type of servers. They will take a loss to get their foot in the door. XAi is sourcing from everyone; Dell, SuperMicro, and now HP. We're all getting played off each other, so XAi is getting these servers at cost.

Basically X is saying, you're all the same. Whoever gives the best price gets the deal. Our best hope is for our deployment teams to outperform the others.

Going to HP or SMCI for sure.
I think MD pays for a lot of these pro dell ads from the press to be honest.

Guys, before you get all excited, look at Elon's history. Courting a company, everything gets set and then he cancels the deal. With the relationship he has with HP, my guess is that this is just to make HP jealous and then he is at a climaxing moment and quickly pulls out of Dell and gets a super cheap sloppy ride with HP. It is in his playbook guys.

Those Big deals are few and far between. Dell can't rely on Elon Musk to boost its AI Compute platforms forever. And by the way, Elon also buys SuperMicro.
