I don’t want people losing their jobs, but org charts have changed the last few years and should be reviewed again. Positions have been created to give people roles and people have been moved to get the numbers right for supervisors. Folks report to corporate when they do little with corporate but instead work in the field. It’s silly and has complicated the org charts and added more layers of management.
Heard a promotion freeze for 2 years as well
That would be a great outcome. I expect more layoffs now and much deeper given Elliott’s involvement.

I doubt if they'd ever ANNOUNCE a hiring freeze. That looks bad. Sure they'd absolutely stop hiring people, but idk if you'd ever hear about it beyond managers complaining that it's almost impossible to get HR to post positions
